Garment Dimensions
Below is a complete list of Maison's support garment dimensions and what each dimension represents in terms of how to measure.
Dimensions
Shoulder Width
The measurement straight across the tip of one shoulder to the other.
Chest Width
The measurement straight across from the bottom of the armholes.
Waist Width
The measurement straight across the narrowest part of the garment (near the waist).
Thigh Width
The measurement straight across the widest point on the thigh.
Hip Width
The measurement straight across the widest point on the hips.
Neck Girth
The measurement around the neck.
Sleeve Length
The measurement from the tip of the shoulder to the end of the sleeve.
Sleeve Length Center Back
The measurement from the back center of a collar to the edge of the sleeve.
Body Length
Measured from the back of the garment in the center to the bottom hem.
Body Length Off Center
Measured from the side of the back neckline to the bottom hem.
Hem Width
The width of the bottom Hem/bottom of garment. The end of the trouser leg for pants, or the bottom hem for open-bottomed garments, such as dresses or skirts.
Rising Length
The length between the top of the waistband and the crotch.
Inseam
The length between the crotch and the hem.
Skirt Length
Measured from the top of the waistband to the bottom opening of the skirt.
Knee
The measurement straight across the leg, ~2" above the midpoint of the leg.
Bicep Width
Measured straight across the sleeve ~1" below where the sleeve meets the body, parallel to the cuff.
Arm Opening Width
The measurement in a straight line from the top to bottom of the arm opening.
Waist Height
The measurement from the highest point on the shoulder to the narrowest part of the dress.
